Glencoe & The Road to The Isles

Your Private Guided Tour begins when we collect you from your desired location in or around Fort William or Oban.

Fort William nowadays is known as The Outdoor Capital of The UK, but tells many a story in its history. Formerly a Garrison town it lies in the shadows of Britain’s highest mountain Ben Nevis.

Having witnessed scenes of battles, playing its part in The Jacobite Uprising of 1745 and The Massacre of Glencoe, my tour will tell you the stories, show you the landmarks and view the sights of Lochaber’s history.

The Road to The Isles runs alongside the railway voted The best Rail journey in The World and famed for The Jacobite Steam Train following the route of Harry Potter, we journey this by road which is an equally impressive journey.

Glenfinnan is the place famed for Bonnie Prince Charlie raising the standard, and The Viaduct that is famed in The Harry Potter movies, it is a tranquil beautiful spot.

The coastal route to Mallaig boasts spectacular scenery of The Small Islands of Eigg, Rum and The Ardnamurchan Peninsula fine views can also be seen to The Isle of Skye and the pinnacled Black Cullin mountains.
